626 Night Market

Passadena's foodie event for asian delights

Held yearly in the Santa Anita park the 626 night market event is a jam packed crazy food heaven. When I went I was deceived on just how big and packed it gets. Luckily I was able to try most of the items I wanted before the wave happened. From funnel cakes to Dick cake yes you read that right.. the variety of different foods to try is fantastic. You do see the typical stir fry and peeled potatoes. The drinks offered were just amazing, fresh squeezed lemonade and passion fruit to pineapple various vendors were ready to quench the thirst of the masses. Once 7pm rolled around lots of people started to trickle in what happened after was awesome and terrifying. Hundreds of people filled the once barren food isles and the smell of food filled the air. It soon became so hard just to get to the other side of the walkway I was thinking I must have been transported to China or something. I had a ton of fun with my friends and was amazed of the food quality and speed the food was made. My favorite item was the ramen burger I had it with an egg and wow it was so good in my mouth! So if you happen to enjoy awesome food and love experiencing new things take a car full of friends and enjoy a fun time with games music. Check out the photo gallery to see just a bit of the things I saw.
